How do you safely clean old video game cartridge pins at home?
My old retro games won't boot up on the console. Is blowing into them actually bad? What is the correct isopropyl alcohol and Q-tip cleaning method?

Blowing introduces moisture that corrodes pins over time. Use a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol to scrub the gold contacts gently, then let dry.
