I accidentally sent a text to the wrong person. Can I unsend it?
I just sent a super embarrassing text to my boss instead of my best friend. It was meant to be a rant about my boss. I saw the \"delivered\" status and immediately panicked. I have an iPhone. Is there any way to unsend this or at least make it less bad?

I've been there and I feel your pain. Here's the honest truth:
1. You CANNOT unsend an iMessage once it's delivered. Apple doesn't offer that feature. \"Delete for Everyone\" only works before it's read. Once you see \"Delivered,\" it's too late.
2. Damage control — do this NOW:
Option A (best if you have a good relationship): Text your boss IMMEDIATELY: \"Oh my god, I just sent you a text meant for my friend — please ignore that, I'm so embarrassed 😂\" Honesty + humor usually works. Most bosses will laugh it off.
Option B (if you can't face it): Wait 24 hours. If they don't mention it, they probably didn't read it carefully or they're being professional about it. Don't bring it up again.
Option C (nuclear): If the text was REALLY bad and you can't face your boss, start updating your resume. Just kidding. But seriously — most people have sent embarrassing texts. It happens to everyone. Your boss is a human who has probably done the same thing.
For the future: enable \"Send with Delay\" in Settings > Messages. It gives you 10 seconds to cancel.
